Tapping on the widget or the launcher icon takes you to an event calendar, and the settings for the app. Resizing the widget should trigger appropriate layouts, and it should scale to fit the available area.

Since the last update, my countdown widget will not load. The message says "problem loading widget". Used to be a brilliant app.
